Keto meatballs with sauce
Serving for 1
150g free range mince
1/4 diced onion
30g Palena Fresh keto breadcrumbs
1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 beaten free range egg
3/4 cup sugar free tomato purée
12 basil leaves
1/2 cup grated mozzarella
Salt and pepper
Let’s get a food processor out and turn on the oven 180 degrees. Now place the mince, diced onion, keto breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper and half beaten egg and process until combined. Then remove from processor carefully and roll mince mixture into 4 meatballs.
Next get a saucepan and add the tomato purée and tear the basil leaves and add, season with salt and pepper and simmer until it reduces by a quarter.
Then get a fry pan and spray with olive oil and and place meatballs in it and seal them on each side and then place in oven for 10 minutes until cooked.
Now in a oven proof serving dish lay out the meatballs and cover with the tomato and basil sauce, then top with the grated mozzarella. Place in oven for 15 minutes until golden then enjoy. X
